Empathetic Concern & Engaged Compassion with Ani Choying Drolma

In this interactive talk, Ani Choying Drolma will share about her difficult childhood, her subsequent meeting with her root teacher, the great 20th century Tibetan master, His Eminence Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and how this meeting changed the course of her life, as well as her current projects and how spirituality has guided her all along the way. Tejal Shah (founder, Sisters in Spirit) will interview her and participants will have the opportunity to ask live questions.



ABOUT ANI CHOYING

Ani Choying Drolma is not only a world renowned singer but also a nationally and internationally awarded humanitarian. Since 2014, she has been appointed as the first UNICEF National Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal for two terms. Over two decades, she has established numerous successful projects to promote education, health, children’s right and women's empowerment. Her autobiography Singing for Freedom has been translated into 14 different languages.
