The quintessence of the Buddhist path lies in understanding the nature of reality - that all phenomena are empty of independent existence (emptiness/shunyata). When this view is correctly ascertained, one realises the harmony of emptiness and dependent origination which is the final panacea to heal our minds, making us totally fearless.
