Introduction to Buddhist Meditation: Workshop led by Ven Lhundup Jamyang

In this 3-day workshop you’ll learn about the basic meditation techniques as used in Tibetan Buddhism. We’ll discuss the reasons why we meditate, and practice the different meditation postures that are suitable for meditation. Ven Jamyang will talk about the two main techniques that are used: concentration meditation and analytical meditation, and how and when we apply them. On the last day we’ll discuss how participants can use these techniques to meditate on the nature of the mind. With this, as a beginner, you’ll have enough information to start your meditation practice. For more advanced students this workshop will be an opportunity to refresh your knowledge.
