Traditional wisdom, ancient practices, and more recently modern science, remind us that the essential nature of our material world (including us humans) is vibration. The practice of mantras, chanting, and music in yogic traditions, while they can evoke a devotional love for deities and gurus or the relief of suffering in the world, are in essence a practice to unite us to our primordial nature through vibration.
In this session, we will engage in an introductory exploration of Nada Yoga (sound/vibration meditation), which will include physical, energetic and subtle body attunement with a focus on major nadis (energy channels) and chakras (energy centers). nisha will host a discussion followed by group practice including beej mantras (seed sounds) as a pathway for activating self-healing, clearing and releasing personal wounds and reminding us of our interconnected luminous nature.
Let’s collectively release what’s been held, and make room for innate abundant energy and wisdom!
